Capillary flow

This project is about modeling and simulating the complex flows of fluids in capillary tubes using Star-CCM+ software. The project aims to compare different analytical solutions for the position of the fluid as a function of time, such as the Lucas-Washburn, Bosanquet, and Hultmark models. The project also investigates the effects of various factors on the fluid flow, such as the presence of a fillet, the compressibility of the gas, and the density of the secondary fluid.
