In this course we learn the fundimentals mechanical systems and mechatronics system elements. Mechanism, motors, drives, motion converters, sensors and transducers. Signal processing and microprocessors. The following list covers the course syllabus:

  1. Understand and explain the basic concepts of mechanical systems and mechatronics.
  2. Explain the functionality of mechanism, motors, sensors and transducers.
  3. Design controllers and use microprocessors for controlling electrical and mechanical actuators.
  4. Program industrial computers and use it for measurements and controlling mechanical systems.
  5. Make a prototype of a mechatronic system.
